What trailer is needed to transport a loader?
Depends on the machine class. Mini and compact loaders up to 8t — step-frame or standard lowbed trailer. Standard loaders 8–20t — low-floor lowbed trailer required due to machine height. Mining class 20t+ — reinforced lowbed or modular axle trailer. We select the trailer based on the loader model — we do not arrive with the wrong vehicle.
How long does it take to transport a loader from Germany to the Balkans?
Standard transport from Germany to Bosnia, Croatia or Serbia takes 2-3 working days. For oversized machines that require special permits for extraordinary transport: 4–6 days in total. We organize express transport in 24-48 hours with an additional charge for priority organization.
Do you transport a loader bought at auction — Ritchie Bros, Euro Auctions, Troostwijk?
Yes — we regularly collect loaders directly from auctions: Ritchie Bros, Euro Auctions, Troostwijk, Hilco, Proxibid and others. Auction houses have deadlines for collection — usually 2–5 business days from the close of the auction. We coordinate directly with the auction house and collect within the agreed time frame. You do not need to be present.
Can a broken loader be ported?
Yes — we load defective and non-functional loaders with a crane or special equipment on site. Indicate when you ask if the machine can drive — we prepare the appropriate equipment for loading and there are no surprises on the spot.
How many loaders can fit on one trailer?
Mini and skid steer loaders up to 3t — 2 to 3 pieces on one lowbed trailer, depending on the dimensions. Compact loaders 3–8t — usually 1 to 2 units. Standard and large loaders 8t+ — one trailer, one vehicle. Group transport of smaller machines significantly lowers the price per piece — let us know the list of all pieces.
Do you transport Cat, Komatsu, Volvo CE, Liebherr and JCB loaders?
Yes — we transport all brands of loaders: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo CE, Liebherr, JCB, Case, Doosan, Hyundai, Hitachi, Bobcat, Manitou, Gehl, Terex and all others. We evaluate each machine by model, weight and dimensions in the transport position — not by brand.
Does the loader need a special permit for transport through Europe?
Depends on the dimensions of the machine. Loaders up to 2.55 m wide and up to 4 m high in transport position — standard transport, no special permits. Wider or taller machines require special transport permits in each transit country. We organize all permits — from Germany to the final destination.
Is the loader secured during transport?
Yes — every transport is covered by a CMR bill of lading. For more expensive machines (new Cat 950, Komatsu WA380, etc.) we organize additional cargo insurance according to the declared value. We photograph and document every load before departure.
What documentation is required for transporting a loader?
CMR bill of lading and invoice or proof of ownership. For customs crossing outside the EU (BiH, Serbia, North Macedonia): customs declaration and commercial invoice with the value of the machine. For oversized machines: permits for extraordinary transport — we organize them for each transit country.
