How much does
forklift transport?

The price of transporting a forklift depends on six factors. We calculate each transport individually. Send the model and the route — with no hidden costs.

Model, capacity and type of forklift

Front loaders (1.5–18t), side loaders, high rack forklifts, order forklifts. Electric vs. diesel/gas — battery capacity affects mass. Examples: Toyota 8FBE15, Linde E25, Still RX70, Crown FC5200, Hyster H3.0FT.

Masts and height

The height of the mast in the transport position determines the overall height of the machine on the trailer. Masts over 4.5m may require special loading access or a lower trailer type.

Route and distance

The price per kilometer varies depending on the country, road type and infrastructure costs along the route. Germany → BiH is a different calculation than Netherlands → Serbia or Italy → Croatia.

Delivery time

We organize standard transport within 48–72 hours. For urgent cases, express pickup within 24 hours is possible — with an additional cost for priority organization.

Connectors and adapters

Sideshifter, bucket, bale clamp, paper roll supports — we transport with the attachment mounted or advise on dismantling for a lower price.

Pickup location

Pick up directly from a warehouse, factory, repair shop, dealer or auction — each location has different availability for a lowbed trailer truck. Remote locations incur additional travel costs.

for transport

Five steps that make loading faster and transport safer.

    Lower the mast into the transport position

    Tilt the mast back to the maximum and lower the forks to the ground — minimizes the overall height of the machine.

    Secure the forks or connection

    Secure the forks in the lowest position or temporarily dismantle them. Fix the connections with clamps.

    Fuel max. ¼ tank capacity

    It reduces the total mass and facilitates customs measurements when crossing the border.

    Prepare technical documentation

    Registration certificate, invoice/proof of ownership, any customs papers.

    Electric forklift — discharge battery 30–50%

    Transport vibrations can damage a fully charged battery. We transport lithium-ion batteries according to ADR regulations if necessary.

How much does it cost to transport a forklift from Germany?

From which countries do you most often transport forklifts?
We most often organize transport from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Italy — where the largest auctions and dealers of used forklifts are located. We also collect from warehouses and auction sites such as BAS, Ritchie Bros and TruckScout.
How long does it take to transport a forklift from Germany?
Standard 2–3 business days for distances up to 1,500 km. Express transport is organized in 24–48 hours with an additional charge for priority organization.
Is the forklift insured during transport?
Yes. Every shipment is covered by CMR insurance from loading to delivery. For high-value forklifts, we offer additional cargo insurance — we negotiate according to the value of the machine.
Can you transport a broken forklift?
Yes. Forklifts that cannot drive themselves, we load them with a crane truck or our own ramp equipment on site. Let us know in advance if the machine can drive — we will organize the loading according to the situation.
How many forklifts can fit on one trailer?
Depending on the dimensions, 2–4 more compact forklifts can fit on one lowbed or flat trailer. Group shipping lowers the price per piece — ideal for dealers and renters who move a large number of machines at once.
Do you transport electric forklifts and reach stackers?
Yes. We transport electric forklifts with lithium-ion batteries according to ADR rules. We transport reach stackers and heavy forklifts over 10t on reinforced lowbed trailers — we plan each project individually according to weight and dimensions.
What documentation is required to transport a forklift?
A vehicle registration certificate or CE certificate of the machine and an invoice or proof of ownership are required. For export outside the EU — customs papers and EUR.1 or T1 document. We help with complete documentation if necessary.
