How much does

The price of transporting special machines depends on six factors. Each machine in this category is non-standard — dimensions and weight are different from project to project. Send dimensions and route — estimate with no hidden costs.

Type and purpose of the machine

Concrete pump, tunnel boring machine, separator or mining machine — each type has a specific shape and center of gravity that determine the loading method and trailer type. Non-standard shapes require an individual plan.

Dimensions and oversized

Specialty machines are often oversized in one or more directions — too wide, too tall, or too long. Every centimeter outside the standard dimensions requires special permits for extraordinary transport in each transit country.

Weight and axle arrangement

The mass of special machines varies from 5 to 200+ tons. The mass distribution on the trailer must be planned according to the axle load. Uneven center of gravity requires special planning of loading and fixing.

Dismantling possible

Some special machines can be partially dismantled for transportation — the crusher boom, concrete pump arm, rotary parts of the separator removed. Dismantling reduces dimensions, transport category and overall cost. We advise the optimal option.

Route and access to the location

Special machines are often delivered to construction sites, mines, quarries or industrial plants in difficult locations. Access check for lowbed truck is mandatory in advance.

Monitoring and coordination

Extra-heavy special machines require a pilot vehicle escort, and in some cases a police escort. All escorts are organized by us, included in the offer with no hidden costs.

different?

Five technical requirements that are specific to the transport of non-standard machines.

    There is no standard solution.

    Every special machine is different — in shape, center of gravity, loading method, and trailer requirements. A carrier who hasn't seen your type of machine can't assess what's needed. We don't rely on assumptions — we always ask for photos and technical data of the machine.

    The center of gravity is not where it seems

    Industrial machines are complex — the engine, hydraulics and mechanical parts are not evenly distributed. Incorrect mounting on the trailer means exceeding the axle mass on one side. We use technical data or on-site weighing.

    Dismantling can dramatically reduce the cost

    A machine that is 5 m high when dismantled can be 3.5 m — below the limit for oversized transport. We advise dismantling where possible and where it avoids the costs of permits and escort.

    Delivery location is often difficult

    Mines, quarries, construction sites in urban areas and industrial plants on terrains that are not suitable for long and heavy vehicles. Always check lowbed truck access in advance — and we have an alternative.

    The documentation is complex.

    Special machines often do not have standard CE documentation in a format that customs authorities accept without question. We coordinate with the customer's engineering team for complete documentation in advance.

How much does it cost to transport a special machine?
Trošak transporta specijalnog stroja određuje se prema konkretnim karakteristikama stroja i zahtjevima transporta. Na organizaciju transporta utiču masa i dimenzije, posebno visina i širina, tačna lokacija preuzimanja i isporuke, odabrana relacija, potrebne dozvole, pratnja i odgovarajuća transportna oprema. Do you transport mobile crushers and separators?
Yes — we transport mobile crushers and separators regularly. Kleemann, Metso Outotec, Sandvik, Terex Finlay. Crawler crushers weighing 20–120 tons and 10–20 m long are transported on a lowbed, if necessary with the side conveyors dismantled. We estimate each machine according to its actual dimensions and weight.
Do you transport concrete pumps and mixers?
Yes. Self-propelled concrete pumps (Putzmeister, Schwing, Liebherr, Cifa) are transported as vehicles with registrations. Stationary pumps and high-value pumping stations are transported on a lowbed. Concrete mixers on special carriers depending on the configuration.
Can a special machine be partially dismantled?
Often yes — dismantling one element (boom, conveyor, arm) can reduce the height or width below the limit for oversized transport. This eliminates permit and escort costs and can significantly reduce the overall cost of transportation. We advise dismantling where possible and profitable.
How long does it take to transport a special machine?
Machines within standard dimensions: 2–3 working days in Europe. Oversized machines with permits: 7–14 days total (5–7 days permit + 2–3 days transport). For extremely complex transports (TBM sections, industrial modules): individually according to the project plan.
What do I need for a transportation estimate?
For a quick assessment, we need: length, width, height and weight of the machine in the transport position. Photography is very useful — especially for non-standard shapes. Relation (departure and destination location). With that data, we send an estimate in 2 hours.
Is the special machine insured during transport?
Yes — every shipment is covered by a CMR waybill. For high-value machines (new mining machines, special processing equipment), we organize additional cargo insurance according to the declared value.
What documentation is required?
CE certifikat ili tehnička dokumentacija stroja, faktura ili dokaz vlasništva, tehnički list s dimenzijama i masom. Za vangabaritne strojeve mogu biti potrebne posebne dozvole za svaku tranzitnu zemlju. Za carinski prelaz potrebne su carinska deklaracija i faktura. Sve potrebne dozvole organizujemo mi.
