Power transformer

The transport of a heavy power transformer was carried out from Thessaloniki to Belgrade in 2024. The transformer was transported on a Faymonville lowbed trailer with 4 axles, which ensures optimal load distribution on the axles and safety when passing through urban areas and on bridges.

Total route length 618 km passes through 3 countries (GR → MK → RS). CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL permits were obtained for each section in accordance with local regulations on oversized and heavy loads. Night passages through urban areas organized according to the requirements of local authorities.

The transport was completed within 3 days. Cargo dimensions 6.4×3.2×4.2m, total weight 74.0t, transported with GPS tracking and constant communication with the customer and the distribution operator.
